Privacy Policy
1. Overview
This Privacy Policy explains how Digital Art Dynamics (“we,” “us,” or “our”) collects, uses, shares, and retains information when you access or use DAD Facade Lab (the “Service”).
DAD Facade Lab is a desktop application that runs AI generation locally on your own computer. Your prompts, source images, and generated outputs stay on your device and are never sent to us. We collect only account information, subscription billing metadata, and optional usage analytics that contain no content.
By using the Service, you acknowledge this Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
2. What We Collect
Account Information
When you create an account, we collect information such as your email address and authentication identifiers needed to log you in and secure your account.
Prompts and Generated Content — Stay on Your Device
DAD Facade Lab generates content locally on your own computer. Your prompts, source images, settings, and generated outputs are created and stored on your device only. We do not collect, upload, receive, or store them, and we do not use them to train AI models.
Usage Analytics (Optional, Content-Free)
With your consent, we collect anonymized usage analytics to understand how the app is used and to improve it — a fixed allow-list of non-content events such as which features are used, generation timings and success/failure, app version, error diagnostics, and aggregate hardware capability (for example, GPU class and VRAM). This data is sanitized on your device before sending and never includes your prompts, images, file paths, project names, or generated content. You can turn analytics off in Settings at any time.
Payment Metadata
Paid subscriptions are processed by a third-party payment provider (Stripe). We do not store your full payment card details. We receive limited billing metadata (for example, customer IDs, subscription status, and transaction references) needed to manage your subscription.
No Sensitive Data. Do not submit protected health information (HIPAA), financial account numbers, government-issued identification numbers, biometric data, or other highly sensitive personal data. The Service is not designed to process that data.
3. How We Use Information
We use the information we collect to:
- Operate and maintain the Service
- Authenticate users and secure accounts
- Provide support and communicate service-related notices
- Debug issues, monitor performance, and improve reliability
- Prevent fraud, abuse, and security incidents
- Analyze usage trends and improve features
We do not use your prompts or generated content for any purpose — they remain on your device. Where you have consented to analytics, we use anonymized, content-free usage data for internal research and to improve features.
4. How We Share Information
We do not sell your personal information. We share information only as needed to operate the Service, including with service providers.
Service Providers (Account & Subscription)
DAD Facade Lab uses third-party infrastructure for account and subscription features (for example, Firebase for authentication, database, and server functions). These providers process only account, billing, and (where you consent) analytics data on our behalf — not your prompts or generated content, which never leave your device.
Payments (If/When Enabled)
If payments are enabled, billing will be handled by a third-party processor (such as Stripe). We share only what’s necessary to process payments and manage billing status.
Legal, Safety, and Enforcement
We may disclose information if required by law or if we believe in good faith that disclosure is necessary to comply with a legal obligation, protect the security of the Service, prevent fraud or abuse, or protect rights and safety.
5. Data Retention
We retain information as long as necessary to operate the Service, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce agreements.
If you request deletion (or close your account), we will delete or de-identify information where reasonably possible, subject to legal holds, fraud prevention, and backup retention.
6. Security
We implement reasonable safeguards designed to protect information. However, no method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
7. Cookies and Tracking
The Service may use cookies or similar technologies that are necessary for core functionality (for example, maintaining sessions) and to understand product performance. If we add additional analytics or marketing cookies later, we will update this Policy accordingly.
8. California Privacy Rights (CPRA/CCPA)
If you are a California resident, you may have rights regarding your personal information, subject to legal exceptions. These may include the right to:
- Request access to the personal information we collected about you
- Request deletion of personal information (with certain exceptions)
- Request correction of inaccurate personal information
- Receive information about our collection, use, and sharing practices
No sale/share: We do not sell personal information. We also do not share personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising as defined under California law.
We will not discriminate against you for exercising your privacy rights.
To exercise these rights, contact us using the details in Section 12. We may need to verify your identity before completing your request.
9. Children’s Privacy
The Service is not intended for individuals under 18, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
10. International Users
If you access the Service from outside the United States, your information may be processed in the United States where laws may differ from your jurisdiction.
11. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will update the “Last Updated” date at the top. Your continued use of the Service after an update constitutes acceptance of the updated Policy.
